A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to nonexistent email addresses under the very same domain. For instance, an email sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. Thus, you can get messages from partners or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some moment you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be re-sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox easily if you have a shared hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet remarkably user-friendly, and it will enable you to activate various features, including the catch-all one, with just several mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve got will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and on the right-hand side of each one you’ll notice a small-size "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate this option, clicking it again will deactivate it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you already have another mailbox with this feature activated or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all option can be enabled without any difficulty in case you have a semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you’ve set up using the domains hosted in your account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you’ll see a small-size logo handily located right next to each one. With only a single click of the mouse, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your liking provided that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with this option already enabled and there isn't activated email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable the feature using the context menu that will pop up. If any of the preconditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not matched, our system will let you know, but will not replace or deactivate anything automatically.
