A: If your present web hosting provider can no longer match the demands of your website, or when you experience frequent network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the client service staff to respond back to you, it may be a good idea to switch your provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your sites together with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At XebecSoft Inc, we realize that this can often be difficult and time–consuming. That is why we’ll perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly qualified technical team reps will migrate your website content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have extensive experience with web site migration and are able to take care of everything – from a traditional WordPress blog or Joomla^™–based web site, to a very complex, custom–made web app.

A: We strive to implement all website migrations as quickly as possible. However, we don’t have a fixed time frame for web site migrations. There are several things that you have to consider – the sheer size of your website and the workload of our website migration staff, etc. We constantly strive to accomplish each migration in under 48 hours. With smaller web sites, our staff usually manages to finish within 24 hours.

A: We don’t collect any private info. We’ll need, though, the login information for your old web hosting account along with the name of the web site that you wish to transfer.

A: In order for us to begin the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share literally the same details you have given to your present host. We’ve also got an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal info is dealt with.

A: Your web site will work just like it did before with your old web hosting provider. After we have finished the transfer, your website will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we’ll alert you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will need to do is change the NS resource records pertaining to your domain. Your website will be transferred over to us with no downtime.

A: While we move your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will not touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
